When Time Stopped Existing

"I will be there for you as long as time exists"
he told her for the million time that day.
And standing there, listening to his heartbeats
she truly believed everything's okay.

But so little she knew, so little she could tell.
As he was lying in front of her, no longer breathing
she shouted to the sky, she broke down, she fell.
And that was when time stopped existing.
