The sun and the star
In shadows deep where sorrow dwells,
A name rings out with haunting spells,
The Star, a soul confined,
In realms of night, he seeks to find,
A place to rest, where he belongs,
Yet feels estranged in life's harsh songs.
A past of grief, a heart of gloom,
He walks alone, a ghost in bloom.
Then enters Sun with warmth and grace,
A healer's touch, a gentle face,
He brings the light where shadows sway,
A beacon bright in darkened day.
With every smile and caring word,
He mends the hearts that are disturbed,
His joy, a balm to souls in need,
He helps the broken hearts to heal and lead.
When the Star met this tender Sun,
They both felt fear, and both felt pride,
Unsure if fate had joined their ways,
In cautious hope, they spent their days.
Yet through the doubts and fear they faced,
A bond was formed, a love embraced,
Together now, they found their way,
A path of light where shadows sway.
But shadows from the past would call,
And the star’s darkness threatened all,
Sun feared the gloom that might arise,
Yet faced it too, with steadfast eyes.
He searched within and found his shade,
As the star’s peace began to wade,
Together, they would face the night,
In unity, they fought the fright.
And in their hearts, a truth revealed,
The dark and light in them congealed,
Where once was night and day apart,
Now intertwined, they share one heart.
For in the blend of dark and light,
They forge a new, enduring sight,
A testament to love's own grace,
In shadows deep and bright embrace
