See The Light

A little boy is playing in the yard
He’s catching butterflies and jumping rope
He falls and gets back up
He is laughing and crying like nothing went wrong.

This is a piece of innocence
In a world of lies and hate
Although he lives in this madness
He doesn’t get caught in the bait

He keeps his world clean and good
From all bad and evil outside his room
His head full of ideas value like gold
And he has no care in the world.

He smiles for the silliest things
The little things that create happiness
And he cries only when he truly is sad.

He doesn’t know pretending
He doesn’t know the colors black and red
Only white and purity lead his way.

He seeks the light in this world
He sees the good in this world
And all he wants us to do
Is to see the world from his point of view…
