Black Eyes-Chapter 6

~one month later~
Everything is just like before. I get good grades and do homework and eat and talk, Everything is just normal.
Except the fact that my best friend is a ghost. Sometimes i wake up hoping that everything was jut a dream. But i lost my hope.
It's not that bad you know. Alex and I gossip just like the old times. She's everywhere I am except in the times i need peace and quiet. She leaves me but comes back with suggestions. She always helps me.
Shes the best ghost-friend I could ever dream of.
But i get sadder every day. My 18th birthday is about to come in a few months, and I'm not ready to loose Alex once again.
We, well me, got invited to the bithday party of Sandra, a friend. She really wants me to come, it would make her much more popular if the-girl-who-lost-her-best-friend would come to her birthday.
'What bad can it make?' said Alex
So i dressed with my best dress, a black one with an uneven desing, and went to her party, two streets from here.
i got at the exact moment when the first song started and everybody started dancing. I saw that John was siting doing nothing so i went to him and askedfor a dance. Me and John know each other scince kindergarden, We're just friends. He gave me a smile and we started roching the floor. Alex made noises hinting that she was laughing at me. But I didn't care, I had a great time dancing with him. But when we sat exhausted on the chairs next to the food, we had nothing to talk about.
We don't share many classes.
.We don't have many friends in comon to talk about
.And he doesn't dare talk about Alex, in case that i would start crying
.So we just sat there until we heard a huge explosion coming from the DJ area
